Ilyas Benmouna is a Software Engineer at Ovado Technology and a dedicated student leader and activist from the United Kingdom. He previously served as Activities Officer (2020–2021) and Activities & Engagement Officer (2021–2022) at UCL Students’ Union, where he led digital engagement strategies, organised cross-cultural events, and championed initiatives supporting Afghan refugees.
Recognised for his leadership in inclusion and innovation, Ilyas continues to empower young people through technology, education, and community action. As an Advisor to the Angiza Foundation, he contributes to advancing digital inclusion and youth engagement across diverse communities.
